Our Practice
Our Begining
Get a Massage Savannah began with a career change we never expected would become a business together. At her brother's suggestion, Geeta spent six months in Austin training as a massage therapist, then returned to Savannah and began working independently. As her practice grew, Gordon, already helping with the business side, went to massage school himself, initially to better understand the work and step in when needed.

In 2018, we opened Get a Massage Savannah on Whitemarsh Island, and over the next several years, the practice grew. Jenny joined us in 2024, and in 2026, we moved downstairs into a larger, more comfortable space, giving the practice room to grow while keeping the personal feel that got us here.

Get a Massage Savannah is a small, independent practice built around a simple idea: the session should fit the person, not the other way around.

People come to massage for all kinds of reasons. Some want relief from pain or tension. Some are trying to stay mobile and feeling good. Others simply want an hour or two to relax, disconnect, talk, learn, or enjoy the comfort of human touch. There isn't one kind of client, and there shouldn't be one kind of massage.

Our therapists bring different styles, but share one standard: grounded, respectful care in a calm, comfortable space. We aim for substance without fuss, so clients feel both cared for and at ease.

That same flexibility extends beyond the massage itself. Pressure, products, music, conversation, scent, linens, positioning and other details can often be adjusted around individual preferences and sensitivities. We use thoughtfully selected products, including a variety of traditional Asian oils and liniments, but we're equally comfortable keeping things simple when that's what a client needs.
